Most of you know that Zac deployed to Iraq on Saturday. Meg sent this email, and I wanted to share it with you.
PRAY FOR HIM! Wow pray for God's covering on all the troops. Our cousin Chris is also there now, too.
I encourage anyone who reads this to pray for Zac, the troops, and send him a note or package. We're so proud of both Zac & Chris.

Here's the note from Meg...keep her in your prayers too... separation is realllllly hard.

"Hey everyone,
Hope this e-mail finds that everyone is doing well. I have some information that I thought everyone might like to have on Zachary. First off, I talked to Zac yesterday morning at around 4:30 AM and he is doing fine. He was in Kuwait waiting to convoy to Iraq. He said that they would convoy to Iraq and would call when he arrived there as soon as he could. I haven't heard from him yet and I hear this is one of the more important times for prayer. Convoys to Iraq and convoys from Iraq are targeted the most by insurgents. I know that Zac has plenty of protection over so just keep him in your prayers. On the lighter note I have all the information anyone needs on contacting him, sending him packages or writing him either e-mails or motomail.
If you would like to send Zac a package you can call 1-800-610-8734 and press 1 for English, and then 1 for packaging, and when you speak to the representative tell them you are calling about the military pack. They will get your name, address, and telephone number and then give you and ID number. This is an awesome free service that the postal service offers. They will send you all the materials you will need to send Zac packages (boxes, tape, wrap, customs forms, etc.) and the best part about this service is not matter how much the package weighs, the post office will only charge you $9.00 to send it to Zac. This is awesome because you get the supplies for free and only pay $9.00 to send whatever you want and you can reorder the supplies as often as you want. How awesome, I know!!! One thing I was told by other spouses was that when sending items to Zac be sure to take a picture of the items you are sending, stick the pictures in an envelope and put that in the box. The reason is because Marines still have to check the packages when they get to Iraq to make sure that there is nothing illegal in there. Some people have complained that by the time they get their stuff there are items missing that their significant other said they had put in the box. So just so Zac has proof and can give his chain of command if this instance should occur it is a great idea to send a picture of what you are sending. When I talked to him the other day he said that he didn't care what anyone sent, just as long as he got stuff, so just whatever you want to send. Remember though if you are going to send snacks or cookies, or anything like that, it is currently about 120 degrees in Iraq so things like that are probably going to melt so wrap them up plenty well!!... His address is as follows (write it just like this on the customs form and the box EXACTLY!)
Cpl. Lindsey, Zachary, T.
II MEF FWD, COMDET,
DATA
UNIT 73920
FPO AE 09509-3920
If you would like to send Zac an e-mail he has two e-mail addresses. At the moment he can not get his military one to work until he gets to Iraq so I have been sending my e-mails to both addresses. First one is zacattackttu@yahoo.com and the second one is zachary.lindsey@usmc.mil . This will probably be the best form of communication with Zac on a daily basis. He took his laptop and we are hoping that he will be able to access the internet from Iraq.
Another really cool way to contact Zac is through a thing called Motomail. Motomail is a Marine Corps unique system that prints electronically sent letters (from family and friends) in about twenty-four (24) hours to Zac in Iraq. This service is free to all users and provides bank level security without any misdirected mail. Letters are stored on a server then distributed to the correct nine digit zip code (09509-3920), printed, sealed and made available for delivery through unit mail call. The awesome thing about this is there is no middle man involved. No one reads what you send or anything, it is printed and sealed right after it prints and then given to Zac. Awesome I know. Motomail can be accessed via the website www.motomail.us and then just follow the instructions.
Last but not least, Zac has a calling card. He has asked me to ask everyone that if there is something that yall want to send or give adding minutes to this calling card is the one thing he wants most. If you're interested in adding minutes, send Steph. and email at peppersteph@gmail.com and she will walk you through the steps of adding minutes.
Okay now that I have written a complete novel for everyone to read, hope this helps. If anyone has any questions or anything they can call me anytime. As for me I am doing as well as can be expected. This is definitely something new for both me and Zac and we know the only way to come out of it on top is remembering that only with Gods help are we going to make it. Continue to pray for Zac and his safety and his safe return in hopefully no longer than 8 months. Hope everyone has a fantastic day. Please forward this to anyone that might want it, I only have a few peopel's e-mail addresses so please forward. Thank you.
With all the information she knows
Megan Joy"
