Awards Night at the School Board Meeting

Last night was awards night at the Lubbock-Cooper school board meeting. Rhyan place first (yeaaaaahhhhh!) in extemporaneous speaking, and he was recognized by the board! We are so proud of him. He dressed very spiffy last night...and please note the VW belt buckle that he wore. Am I not sooooo proud??!!! :) We're so proud of you Mr. Rhyan Ehlers!



Not only did Rhyan get honored, so did...well...elementary through high school UIL'ers as well as the Lady Pirate Volleyball team.

As you can see...we were ummm...trying to focus on all the awards being presented.

Meanwhile...at home...Hayden was enjoying catching up with his Grandma!

Katie came over and took Reghan to a meeting. Before she left I made her sit on the floor and allow me to play with my new beloved camera. Well...she wasn't gone 10 minutes and Hayden ran in and said, "Mom, mom, come and take my picture!" I told him okay...and grabbed my camera. I was going to take a quick pic of him...but oh no! He said, "NO MOM...in here!" He then ran into the dining room and sat on the floor like Katie!

We love Katie! :)
