Little Miss Nail Polish Queen

Let me just show you what I walked in to this evening....
I had been in Rhyan's room setting up a new wireless router. Abby and Hayden, of course, followed me into Rhyan's room, but I made them come out with me with I was finished.

Oh not so...

Evidently Abby Kay Ehlers made her way into her big sister's room and helped herself to a nice metallic hot pink bottle of nail polish! Then she journeyed into Rhyan's bedroom, sat herself on the floor, and began painting.

I didn't find her until the damage was done.

Needless to say, after a phonecall to Uncle Mickey - who owns a carpet & flooring store in Midland, we will be calling a professional to come and clean the carpet in Rhyan's room. (Isn't that funny that she picked Rhyan's room to apply her polish??!!)

Just another night in the Ehlers' home... :). Oh, and don't let the tub scene fool you. Do you think the polish came off? Oh no way Jose! We'll be rubbing her leg down with polish remover in the morning :).

David's First Sale

David's First Sale!!!

David just made his first buyer transaction with Keller Williams! We're so proud of him! He worked his tail off today...he ate an apple for lunch (and you and I both know that's not much for David!), and he had a computer malfunction halfway through typing up the contract!
We're on our way to celebrate!
By the way...isnt it neat that he sold a house to his mom & dad??!! (And his second will be to his sister Melinda!)
That's right....Ray, Barbara, Melinda and the girls are moooooving to town! Congrats to them too!

Today is my friend Kelly Robinson's birthday!

Kelly is a dear friend of mine here in Lubbock. I met her when i plopped my over-sized pregnant body in her dental chair about 2 1/2 years ago...and the rest is history. We try REALLY hard to have lunch once a week (we don't get together near like we'd like), and we also spin (can you hear me gasping for breath?) at The Falls most mornings ...bright and early at 5 a.m.

I joined Kelly and Wesley on a mission trip to Mexico about two years ago...what an incredible time!

Kelly has three boys - Jonathan, Charlie and Jack. I feel terrible b/c the only photo I have of Jonathan looks like it was taken from a convenience store surveillance camera...sorry Jon!

Happy Birthday, Kelly! I'm so thankful for our friendship!

Busy Weekend

Ready for some photos? We spent the weekend at basketball games. Here's several of them from the boys and girls games. The boys played a tourney in Olton, and the girls in Levelland. Rhyan did an AWESOME job! He plays again tomorrow night.


Reghan Elizabeth. Isn't she beautiful? We took this before we left for the game on Friday. When I was little a friend of my parents...his name was Orville...used to sing, "The Most Beautiful Girl In the World" to me. I think it most definitely applies here.
