Catch Up Time

Wow wow wow...i am behind!
I haven't posted in about a week!
Where to start?
Dad, Mom & Grandma came out this weekend. We aslways have such and incredible time...and wow...my laundry was caught up...we moved boxes out of the living room...:) I must admit..I love being "taken care" of ...and Mom and Grandma do it the very best!

Happy Birthday Dad! Steve Pepper is his name. Have you met him? If you haven't, you should! Dad's worn many hats in his 53 years, and currently he is one awesome Pepaw as well as rambling Auctioneer! Love you, Dad!

Hayden loves Dad (Pepaw)...just a teeny tiny little bit.

Spidey was in rare form this weekend...

They had to match. They had to. Dad went OUT of his way to purchase a pair of spidey boxers so they could look alike. Hayden was INCREDIBLY proud. He insisted on wearing this .... THIS...spidey top...which is about 3 sizes too big.

Hayden got a pitching machine...and of course...we had to try it out...umm...in the living room. He can bat by himself...but WOW this machine throws'em out really really fast. He does NOT like having help...but that's the only way he could hit on this machine.

Not long after batting practice began...a ball slammed RIGHT in to Hayden's lip. OUCH. I told him he looked like Chicken Little! This did not make him happy. He glared at his mama and said, "I NOT chicken little...I'm Hayden Ray!"

Miss YogaWhat Reghan does...Abby does. Reghan TRIED to sneak away to the back and do her yoga. Oh not so. Abby had to practice the Tree position too.

Abby's First Hair Cut!

My friend Lori Williams at David-Taylor Salon in Lubbock gave Abby her first "bang trimmin" today. Her appointment was at 2:45 this afternoon. Well...guess what her moma forgot???!!! The magnificent 5d! So i made a call to my dear friend Kristin to lament. She very quickly cut me off and said, "I'll be there in 10 minutes". I called her on my way there...and didn't have time to go back home and get my camera.
Well....Kristin went to ALL that trouble...sped like a mad mama to town...and parked herself at...Sophisticuts on 98th and Quaker instead of Davidson-Taylor at 82nd and Quaker. Needless to say...Kristin came all that way and missed it...and I felt terrible! Camera phone to the rescue!
Thanks KB...for trying! :)
Abby Kay was a little leery of the sitting up high in a big chair all by herself. And she was even less impressed with the smock. She did GREAT, however, and Lori snip snipped three times and we were on our way...loose lock in hand...and a young little Abby Kay!
Thanks Lori!

Tonight Reghan played in her Winter Concert at Cooper Junior High. What a woman! Tooting on that flute! Her friend Sarah Robinson plays the symbols. Way to go Sarah and Reghan.

Hayden hadn't had a nap today...so ...he's drinking juice and ringing hair during the concert. Surprising?

Time to back up in time a bit.
Sunday night we had several friends over for a Super Bowl party! Woo Hooo what fun!
Our HONORED guests were Gordon and Trina Ehlers. They were celebrating their anniversary...and they chose to spend it with us! :)
Happy Anniversary! We love ya'll!

Trina, Sue & Debbie
(Sue made it? Yep...Sue made it.) ;)
What a group! :)
Hayden loved the company! He picked out a few new fav-o-rite friends of the night, too...including Ms. Debbie. He also had Trina (Ward) and Jean on the high jump pit exercising. What? What did you say? Oh. Hayden wants to know if ya'll want to come over and play.

Hmmmm....Hayden is hiding UNDER the table trying to sneak some pistachio nuts. He loves them...after we cut him off, he hid under the table with Specka Pepper and sneaked a few more.

Okay, what camera do you have and which lens were you using on the pics of your dad and son playing baseball in the house? Help! Fun pictures. I love listening to auctioneers. That's so fun that your dad is one. Gotta look at the rest of those pics on that long post before I write anymore.
