Rhyan's First Game

GREAT JOB RHYAN!!!!!!!!
The Boy can play ball!
Kool Katie took these pics! She did an awesome job while I wrestled Abby & Hayden.

Rhyan played an awesome game. As you can see...he definitely gets INTO the game! Watching him brought lots of b-ball memories!
We're so proud of you Rhyan, and you played a great game!
Katie and I - along with Abby & Hayden - made the 2-hour trip to Midland Greenwood. (Click there to see a satellite view)Don't let the "Midland" in Greenwood fool you. Greenwood is in the middle of nowhere. It would be like calling Wilson "Lubbock Wilson".

Google Maps to the rescue!

MeMe Brooks made the haul as well with her video camera in tow. Thanks, MeMe for supporting Rhyan in a land far-far-away! And thanks Katie for the fun trip!

(I'm doing this new RAW file editting thing...so forgive the pic processing...lots of different colors...was the gym wall green or cream?! I can't remember.)

We've Come a Long Way Baby!

Isn't this great? I bet the pilgrim of the windmill never imagined it's future use!

Headed to Midland for Rhyan's first 8th grade b-ball game.

We had an awesome time celebrating Ehlers Thanksgiving and making Honey Cookies yesterday. Pictures soon.

A Young Boy's Paradise - Jump N Jungle

Today Hayden and Charlie Robinson played at the Jump N Jungle. It's this fabulous indoor facility that houses non-other than monstrous sized jumpers and slides.

I took these pics with my camera phone. The quality isn't great...but woooweee we had fun!

Notice how red their faces are. One thing's for sure ... the adventure completely wore them out! Ha Ha!

Their breaks became more and more frequent, and then they decided they were ready to get ice cream.

After we got home, Hayden took a four-hour nap! I think we'll start making frequent visits!

Thanks, Charlie! Hayden had so much fun playing today!

Brenan's First Game & Wesley's Visit

Brenan played his first Junior High basketball game Monday night. He did great!

He plays on Cooper's 7th grade A-team.
He and Rhyan will play at the same time this season, so we'll be running back and forth to watch them both.
Good luck this year, Brenan!

Wesley was also in town this week on his Thanksgiving Break. I know Rhyan enjoyed the company (they had two camps...in front of the living room TV or in front of the bedroom playstation TV). This pic was taken just before we left to go to Brenan's game. We loved having Wesley and can't wait for him to come back. Wes has wonderful gift of being able to make anyone laugh at any given moment. Wes lives in Houston, and we sure miss him (as well as his Mom and Dad)!

Tayler Nichole

This is Miss Tayler.

Tayler is my first niece. I remember the night she was born. Mom called. I jumped in my car and drove from Wichita Falls to Childress. I was so excited. So excited that I didn't pay attention when I was getting dressed. (It was late). When I got to the hospital I had on two different pair of tennis shoes.
Dr. Henderson offered to let me wear some of those nifty blue hospital shoe scrubs, but I declined.
Tayler you are such a beautiful, kind & loving girl. Just look at her smile - doesn't it make you want to give her a big hug!

Tayler is taking piano lessons now. I hear she doesn't practice like she should. Sounds like someone else I know of ... who used to live in the same house that Tayler lives in now!

Love you Tayler!

Leighten Raye Pepper

A girl of many faces

This is my beautiful niece Leighten Raye. She is a character...obviously. She races go-carts...and I might add that she does it well. She is full of what my great-grandma would call "piss & vinegar". Leighten is very competitive. A couple of years ago she was racing Pepaw on their homemade dirt track. Pepaw beat her. Well...the next thing we knew, Leighten circled the track, and then she rammed into Pepaw T-bone style. Bent the frame of his go-cart. She showed him.

I don't get to see my nieces as often as I'd like. I love you Leighten!

Down time at Nannie & Pepaw's

She tried it...
Reghan tried coffee for the first time tonight. She likes it like I do...mostly cream, some coffee.

We mostly hung out tonight. We ate. We Watched tv & movies, etc. Isn't that nice!?

Three Wheelin' Machine

Friendly Fred & Hayden

Friendly Grandpa Fred wheeled up on his three-wheeler this morning - flag flapping in the wind. Hayden could NOT wait to have a ride!
Thank you Friendly Fred for giving Hayden a spin!

Thanksgiving 2006

Thanksgiving 2006...already! We have so much that we're thankful for!

I've intended to start this for months now...and here we are...finally!

We celebrated David's 41st birthday Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday with the Lubbock crew and Wednesday with the KC crew.
The Pepper & Ehler's crew dined in the thriving metropolis of Rochester at a steakhouse called Her's. The highlight of the night was who could ride the hog. We hear that Her's is getting t-shirts that say, "I rode the Hog at Her's". We'll be the first in line.

I couldn't wait to publish the next photo. Dad has taken over the "back fridge" in the laundry room. It's filled with various leftovers and also with what mom loving refers to as Dad's "Stiff Stuff". Dad has a drink of "Stiff Stuff" at night to help him sleep. (I might add that this "Stiff Stuff" is incredibly stiff...wine that's ummm 6% alcohol - I don't know many who could take it.) Well... Dad has this habit of laying bottles on their sides if there's not a handy place for them upright. I think Mom asked him several times not to that. One day he didn't screw the lid on tight enough...and well...wine ended up EVERYWHERE. Wine is just a LITTLE sticky. Guess who cleaned up...hence the sign...a nice, gentle reminder every time the door is opened. Cracks me up.
